The tissue which is formed by the division of Meristmatic Tissue and does not divide further, is called Permanent tissue.
The cells of Permanent Tissue either stopped their growth completely or for the time being. There are two types of Permanent tissue:-
- Simple Permanent Tissue (Provides support and protection)
- Complex Permanent Tissue (Conducts nutrients and water)
