Muscular Tissues are present in every parts of the body. These tissues help the movements of hands, legs, alimentary canal, lungs, eyes and other parts of the body.
Based on the structure and functions, Muscular tissues are divided into three types- Voluntary Muscles, Involuntary Muscles and Cardiac Muscles.
1. Voluntary Muscles
This is a Cylindrical and unbranched shaped muscles. These muscle’s movement is in our control. It helps in the movement ob bones. These muscles present in hands, legs, toungue, jaws and other parts of the body.
2. Involuntary Muscles
This is Spindle shaped muscles. The movement of this muscles is not under our control or will. These muscles present in inner organ of the body such as the stomach, intestines, urinary bladder and eyes.
3. Cardiac Muscles
This is cylindrical and branched shaped muscles. This muscles work non-stop throughout our life. This muscles present only in the heart.
